Orissa Engineering College in Bhubaneswar was the state’s first private Engineering college. In 1986, it was founded. Shri Kamini Kanta Patnaik’s vision resulted in the establishment of Orissa Engineering College, which houses the Odisha Electronics Control Library. It was dedicated by Biju Patnaik, Orissa’s then-chief minister. The alumni from the college operate all over the world.
